Our Mission

Erie County ARES/RACES holds regular meetings on the second Monday of each month (except August) at 7:00pm. Meetings are held at the Erie County Emergency Services Training & Operations Center; 3359 Broadway just east of Union Road.
To be a member of ARES, you must be a current FCC-licensed Amateur Radio operator 18 yrs. of age, or older. You must also be an Erie County, NY resident. To be a member of RACES, you must fulfill the requirements of ARES, as well as attend two training sessions per year. To fill out an ECAR application, click here.

Weekly Net is Sunday at 7:00pm; held on 146.865MHz+ linked with
443.525MHz (PL Tone 151.4Hz), also 443.975MHz Chestnut Ridge (PL Tone 141.3Hz). Backup repeater is 147.255MHz+ (CTCSS 107.2Hz). Current announcements, training and any other info/ideas are discussed.
